East Dennis Sheep

Something to baaaaa about is this off the beaten path, an exploration of East Dennis country lanes where we happen upon a time of old. Where time stands still within the quiet of nature.

Curious Georges greet you with wonder, a treat perhaps?
This is a place to connect with land as far as the eye can see of a time that remains, yet changed and reconfigured by man.
Fields meet homes where once cows roamed and lazily grazed all the way out to Cape Cod bay.

Reflecting a gentle space, a gentle place, this is the home of one of my favorite places ‘Not Enough Acres’. An organic farm producing the most wonderful seasonal vegetables, berries, farm fresh eggs, and very own honey that I swear is the nectar from the Gods!
And the sheep? Well they are the beloved creatures of my friend Beth Deck who gathers their wool, and creates exceptional knitted wear design!

Fieldstone walls remain, marking boundries with charm.
A countrified life speaks, set against the backdrop of a modern world, a place to disconnect from technology, and pause as the smell of salt air surprises the senses moving the soul.

In my minds eye, I imagine feeling the vibration of the ground beneath me as the thunder of horses gallop through these very fields! Jumping stone wall after stone wall into the neighboring village…

or just maybe finding their way to Cape Cod bay and sandy beaches leaving endless hoof prints in the sand.
This is certainly a place to baaaaa about… and a best kept secret down a country lane!
