The scope of creative talent, artistry, museum, restaurants set against a back drop of history age old with village charm creates an inviting environment to muse for a perfect outing. We begin our tour on the out skirts of Dennis village with Linda Burke's glorious finds of a fine clothing store ... a treat for the fashionista! |
Aaaah, next arriving to Bosari's Gallery where tables are set with white linen table cloths await you within a setting of an old meat house, wide planked floor boards creak beneath your feet and speak of another time gone by. And art work encompassing all walls, keeps your visual sense engaged, high and low. |
Enormous pots of tea can be enjoyed in a mix match of fine china tea cups. Staff wonderfully warm and helpful... I delight in a bowl of their home made soup and their yum of a crab quiche with salad. They offer an array of delicious sandwiches as well. And sconces... yes, absolutely have a scone with clotted cream & strawberry jam... you'll be glad you did! |
We discover the Under Ground Bakery. Be warned as there are scrumptious treats it will be a challenge in picking just one of many choices and hard to refrain from taking a box of biscotti and Italian cookies home! This is a must do, must have stop! Give way to a little indulgence. Oh and yes, have a perfect latte or espresso to sip and dunk a delight into! |
The Percheron horses took my breath away as they rounded a turn onto Main Street. A complete unexpected surprize pulling a trolley which transported strollers from venue to venue. Their bells jingled as their steel hoved shoes clippity clopped along the road in a rythmic beat... adding to the magic and festivities of the day. |
